Millions, billions and trillions; where are we going?
In our normal passage through life, we don't use these numbers. I am listing them here for you because it's clear that we will be using them soon and it will be easier for you if you know them in advance. You already know about a million, a billion and a trillion. After that comes quadrillion, quintillion, sextillion, septillion, octillion, nonillion, decillion, undecillion, duodecillion, tredecillion, quattuordecillion, and quindecillion, that’s 10 to the 48th, or a one followed by 48 zeros.
A googolplex?
That is not the end, but beyond these, the numbers are generally used by astronomers and suchlike and are not in the realm of Payday Loans. For your department of useless information, the googolplex, no relation to Google, has often been nominated as the largest named number in the world. If a googol is ten to the one hundredth, then a googolplex is one followed by a googol of zeroes. Got that?
About China
China, until recently the savior of the world, has a money problem like every other country, only bigger.
