You plan your own personal trip
Sometimes people need to be told the way to plan a vacation. You’ll first need to choose a few things. For an example I will show you how I planned my trip to California.
Budget to begin
The very first thing I did was start with a budget. It is good to start that budget with two thousand dollars. We knew we could spend that much. Narrowing down where we were going was easy after deciding on California. A week was the only amount we were going to have to go.
Where to stay and how to get there
We needed to decide whether we should drive or fly. It was more cost effective to drive since there was six of us. You could consider going on a road trip. Gas money wouldn't be as much. We next had to decide on where to stay. It is best to stay in hotels close to where you'll be the next day. I decided to get cheap but nice hotels.
Make a decision about where you would like to go
This was nicer for us since we had already planned on California. Next we had to decide what to see while there. The San Francisco Golden Gate Park has free access on the first Wednesday of every month. It will be worth it even though it will be busy. It will help you save money. Driving out there could take you all day. You will decide this by where you live. Some people might take two days while others might take five hours to get where they want to go. The beach is a good place to go the first day. We selected a beach to go Monday. We wanted to go to a theme park the second day. This will be able to go into the budget. We wanted to go to the free park and the golden gate bridge on the third day. I wanted to go to the pier to shop and to the San Francisco Wharf on Thursday. Friday we decided to go to Alcatraz. We decided to go to the giant redwoods on Saturday. We wanted to drive home on Sunday. Do this in enough time to get reservations and tickets.
Before you pay for things
You shouldn't pay for things unless you know you are going for sure. Use an insurance agency if you aren't sure. It will be the protection you need. Enjoy your trip and be safe on your way!
