Eagles coach and Vick comeback things Obama believes are great

President Obama made a call to the owner of the Philadelphia Eagles, Jeffrey Lurie, while on his family escape in HI. This is what Columbia Broadcasting System reports. The call was to talk to Lurie about plans to install solar panels and make Lincoln Financial the first NFL stadium to use sustainable energy. Also, Lurie was told how great it was that he was willing to give a felon a second chance by hiring Michael Vick by the president. There was a dog fighting ring run by Vick. This was why he was convicted. The president then said that giving Vick a chance was an amazing thing for Lurie to do thinking about "it's never a level playing field" when released. This year, behind Tom Brady, Michael Vick is second to be League MVP.

Bounty Bowl for contributing Rendell

Governor Ed Rendell was a known participant in the second game of the "Bounty Bowl" series in 1989, which took place in Philadelphia. Fans hit the Dallas Cowboys with things such as snowballs during the game. The fans later turned on the Eagles and the broadcast booth. Rendell bet $20 to a fan that he could hit the field with a snowball while instead, he hit a Cowboys player in the back during the game. Beer sales were canceled the rest of that year at Eagles games.
