Oui is how one would say yes in French

I say it all the time. The other day, I was at a dance class. While I was there, one of the guys asked if anyone knew how to speak Spanish. I answered by saying Oui. It was pretty funny. Everyone laughed because I answered that question in French. I thought it was pretty funny. I guess I'm just a pretty funny person. I know absolutely no French besides that though. That is what gives it more humor. I think I am going to learn how to say a little bit of French so I don't feel so stupid.
