OnLive Microconsole indicates gaming without the price

After just a few months of running their cloud gaming services, OnLive has announced their newest product. With just the brand new OnLive set-top Microconsole, you are able to stream video games. No disks, no consoles, just an internet connection required. The OnLive Microconsole will cost merely $99, with no subscription services. The box is included with a controller and one free game. What you need to know about OnLive service

First introduced in June, OnLive is a service that started with PC and Mac computers. Computers do not need extensive processing power as it will stream high-end games to any computer. Instead, OnLive allows high-end games to be played on just about any computer, including netbooks. All monthly fees were taken off of OnLive. Instead, gamers only have to pay for the games that they want to play.

PC and Mac computers had OnLive tested to them a lot. The brand new microconsole was being tested. This minuscule console is about the size of your hand. Hooked up to your HDTV and high-speed internet connection, the OnLive Microconsole has about 40 games, and there are over 100 more slated to appear by the end of 2011. Right now you are able to get many games on OnLive Microconsole. Included are "Alien vs. Predator," "Borderlands," "Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood" and "Duke Nukem Forever." You are able to play the games right now fairly well. The little bit of lag does not make that large of a difference.

What is included with the OnLive Microconsole

In early December, you can get the OnLive Microconsole for $99. As the first streaming service to offer a set-top box, OnLive ships with one free game and a hand-held controller. You can pay $280 for PlayStation 3. $300 is about what you'd pay for an XBox 360 too. Netflix and Hulu Plus are other possibilities of things that could stream with the "talks in the works" of OnLive streaming other things. The OnLive Microconsole will do well with the future gaming industry as it is compatible with 3D gaming.

Will you be getting the OnLive Microconsole? Do you already have something? Are you going to be adding it on?
