With Brandon's brilliance in a brutal man's game, he has been beating women off the field. Is it my cash now, pain later? The Dolphins seem to be getting one of the best receivers within the game at one of the weakest positions in Brandon Marshall. Brandon Marshall is very close to being suspended for one year by the NFL.

Brandon Marshall was in police reports during his junior year in college at the University of Central Florida with misdemeanor charges with disorderly conduct, refusal to obey, assault on a police officer, and resisting arrest. The charges all were dismissed. When trying to return a set of stolen bed sheets, he was charged with retail theft. Those charges were dropped as well.

Brandon Marshall was drafted in 2006 by the Denver Broncos. That same year, Brandon Marshall was involved in an altercation at a Denver night club that previous Broncos wide receiver Javon Walker said helped to contribute to a drive by shooting shortly after that was the cause of the death of Darrent Williams who was the Broncos cornerback.

In the parking lot of a bowling alley in Orlando Fla., Brandon Marshall attracted the police following a fight with his father who asked to borrow money in January 2007. Another police report was filed in March 2007 after his girlfriend Rasheedah Watley said Marshall threatened her with a lead pipe. Marshall was arrested just a couple of days later on charges of false imprisonment and domestic violence for assaulting Watley at the Marshall home in Denver. Charges were dismissed after Marshall attended anger management classes.

Brandon Marshall: so much for anger management

Brandon Marshall assaulted Watley again, according to police reports, in June 2007 when he allegedly cut her with a kitchen knife and punched her within the face. Marshall later rammed Watley's friend's car with his automobile, a Cadillac Escalade. Once more, no charges were filed. A few weeks later, Atlanta police responded after Marshall missed a flight, blamed Watley and beat her up. No charges were filed. The Atlanta police department suggested to Watley that she get a restraining order.

Marshall was arrested for assaulting his fiance in public in Atlanta just a couple of months later. The charges were dismissed. The Broncos suspended Marshall for several games last season and he was benched for the final game.

Dolphins, good luck with Brandon Marshall

After all this, why did the Dolphins want a Brandon Marshall Trade? He is instant money with all the caveats. Marshall set an NFL record for receptions in a game with 21 in 2009 and caught more than 100 passes for the third straight year. Meanwhile, Brandon Marshall’s conduct, including his latest assault on his fiance, is under review by the NFL. Good Luck Brandon Marshall and the Dolphins.
